Fulden Eskidelvan, M.A.

Fulden Eskidelvan is a research associate and PhD candidate at CETEUS, University of Cologne. Currently, she is programme manager for the establishment of the Master European and International Affairs at the Turkish German University Istanbul. She graduated from the University of Cologne in 2015 with a MA in Political Science (Major) and Social Policy (Minor). Further, she is holding a Double Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Anthropology.

Having studied and worked in Germany, Turkey and Greece her research focuses on EU-Turkey relations and, in this context, Turkey’s democratization process with a special emphasis on constitutional politics and separation of powers. She speaks English and Turkish fluently.

She is part of a transatlantic network initiated by the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) exploring options of US-European cooperation in the 21st Century, namely in the area of immigration and integration. Further, as MA student she was involved in the Research Lab ‘Constitutional Politics in Turkey’ by Humboldt-University Berlin, which is part of the Blickwechsel I programme of Stiftung Mercator.
