Aline Bartenstein, M.A.

Aline Bartenstein is a research associate and PhD candidate at CETEUS, University of Cologne. Currently, she is programme manager for EUCOPAS, a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and for PROTEUS, an interdisciplinary teaching programme for MA students. She graduated from the University of Cologne in 2013 with a Master in Political Science (Major) and Energy Economics (Minor). She holds a Bachelor Degree in European Studies.

Her research focuses on European Energy Policy, particularly on the development of primary and secondary law, the question of sovereignty of and solidarity between Member States as well as external energy policy. She speaks English and French fluently.
